Who We Are
Founded in 2008 by cousins Jamie Smith and Matt Lewzey, JM Contractors has grown into a trusted team of builders based in Ampthill, working across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. Today the business is a hands-on team of 17, supported by a long-standing network of experienced delivery partners.
The most important thing we build is trust. Through careful planning, clear communication and experienced delivery, we ensure every project is completed to the highest standard.
Our strength lies in end-to-end delivery. Key stages – including groundworks – are delivered in-house, reducing reliance on third parties and maintaining control throughout the build. Projects are priced carefully against the agreed scope and specification, giving clients clear and realistic figures from the outset.
We work directly with private clients and collaborate with architects and residential developers on selected projects.
